With Living DNA, you can get insights into both your ancestry and health. When it comes to ancestry, Living DNA can pinpoint your DNA spanning over 150 regions across the globe, with a focus on the British Isles and Ireland. While this seems like a lot, other services such as 23andMe and AncestryDNA can offer you a more in-depth analysis of your ancestry.
With regards to your health, Living DNA focuses only on the nutrition and fitness aspects, which comprises only a small part of what can be gleaned from your DNA. If you want more information about your health, you can upload your Living DNA raw data to other services such as SelfDecode to receive personalized and prioritized diet, lifestyle, and supplement recommendations on over 30 health topics, including vitamins, minerals, and fitness.
Now that you learned how to use your Living DNA login information to access your account and download your raw file, you can use your DNA data to discover more about your health and ancestry.
When it comes to health, Living DNA offers limited options regarding nutrition and fitness, but not much else. For insights into how to improve your health based on your DNA, SelfDecode can present a much better option.
